How to Register for the COVID Vaccine?

Is it necessary to register for the vaccine?

Well, yes, as the country needs to maintain a record of the vaccinated individuals and register for the second dose, an acknowledgment of the first dose is mandatory. You can book your slot by either website or Aarogya Setu App.

Via Aarogya Setu App

Aarogya Setu is a Government-backed application that you can use for registration. From each mobile, you can book a slot for four individuals. Just follow the simple steps shown below:

1. Download Aarogya Setu Application from the play store. 
2. At the top right, click the COWIN icon. 
3. Click on the vaccination tab.
4. Enter your number for logging in and verify using 6 Digit OTP
5. Click Proceed
6. Click on the drop-down menu
7. Select your ID proof (that you must bring during vaccination)
8. Submit the form 
9. View the action tab
10. Click the checkbox for your name
11. Click Schedule appointment 
12. Enter Pin code
13. Select the date and available slot
14. Confirm your appointment. 

You need to bring ID proof during the time of your vaccination.

You can also register for the website via the Co-Win website; simply login to www.cowin.gov.in/ and follow the following steps:

1. Click the “Book your slot.” tab 
2. Enter your number for logging in and verify using 6 Digit OTP
3. Click Proceed
4. Click on the drop-down menu
5. Select your ID proof (that you must bring during vaccination)
6. Submit the form 
7. View the action tab
8. Click the checkbox for your name
9. Click Schedule appointment 
10. Enter Pin code
11. Select the date and available slot know more about the second dose of the vaccine.
12. Confirm your appointment.
